The Public Policy Forum is hosting a conference on January 23rd in Ottawa, to discuss the Government of Canada's recent Economic Plan as defined in the Advantage Canada document. Canada is amongst the most successful and prosperous of nations, but productivity levels and a competitive business environment should be improved. As well, global supply chains, the rise of Asia, and high energy prices are having a dramatic transformative effect on the Canadian economy, and require appropriate policy responses. Featuring an array of prominent speakers, the conference will examine how the proposals outlined in Advantage Canada could improve the business environment and Canada's competitiveness.
