If you take time to hear a candidate from the Green Party speak, you get understand that the Green Party platform and policies of Vision Green are comprehensive and logical. If you have not done the research on the party, and do not have the necessary critical thinking skills to move away from your party loyalty allow me to share with you a section of the introduction of Vision Green:
"Green Party solutions are rational because the Green Party, unlike other parties, understands the scientifically verified limits to growth set by the carrying capacity of our planet. We must work within these limits. Otherwise, we will exhaust resources, degrade our environment and put our economy, health and children’s future at risk."
"The Green Party solutions are realistic because they follow “best practices” already in place in parts of Canada or other countries. These practices are cost-effective, deliver results and benefit people, the economy and the environment."
Please not the connection between the drastically different ideas presented here. These areas can be further explored by visiting greenparty.ca. Visit this website, and learn about the party. Do not make the errors in judgement that the rest of the population has, and thought that we are a fringe party or a one issue party. The Green Party is the up and coming party in Canada, and will continue to gain support as more Canadians search for real answers to real issues. This sure beats fictional answers to comparatively insignificant issues.
If we don’t address the environmental issues, all other issues are moot. Without the environment, there is no economy. Without the environment, there is no industry, no health care, no education, no meaning to what our government says or does.
Only when we have a healthy or healing environment, can we have a legitimately strong economy, a thriving industry sector, an excellent health care system, a promising and inspiring value on education programs. Without a healthy and healing environment, the actions and practices of government are most certainly meaningless.
