The era of cheap oil is over, with gas prices skyrocketing, public transit ridership is at an all time high. Instead of cutting back on public transportation services, we should be reforming our national transportation system to create more affordable travel options for the whole country.

Federal and provincial policies that promote the production and use of ethanol fuel to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are misguided, according to a Commentary released today by the C.D. Howe Institute. The strategy should be reconsidered, says the study, since the net environmental benefits of ethanol fuel are uncertain, and the costs to consumers and governments are high.
You must be either ignorant or new to the earth to not know that our planet is dying, and along with it, the humans. We are on a verge of the biggest collapse of a society in the time period that humans have inhabited this earth.
